Are Peptides safe to use when you are pregnant?  I asked this question of Ken Simpson the CEO of Skin 2 Skin Care

Kens Response:

All the research that I have read about Peptides is that they are safe for pregnancies. None of the peptides we use have parabens or toxic preservatives in them, most are preservative free everything is listed in our ingredient deck.

Things she should be concerned about is parabens and other toxic preservatives in other products like hair and body, over use of vitamin A, Some Essential oils that are not in our blends. I just removed the Vitamin A from our creams and use an alternative natural plant retinol to avoid the side effects and possible issues with over use of vitamin A when pregnant.

I have doe a lot of research and so has my chemist to insure our products are as safe as they can be as of what we know of today.  Our list of the Forbidden ingredients are the ones she needs to totally avoid always.

Skin 2 Skin Forbidden Ingredients To Stay Away From include: NO Animal Ingredients, Toxic Preservatives, Formaldehyde Releasers and Unnatural Parabens, Talc, Petroleum, Mineral Oil, Synthetic Fragrance, Color, Sulfates, Chemical Sunscreens, PABA, Nanoparticales, Genetically Engendered Organism, Hydroquinone, PEG / Polyethylene Glycol, Resorcinol, Toluene, Tritethanolamine, BHA/Butylated Hydroxyanisole, Ceteareth Glycol, Cocamide DEA, , PEG , Triclosan, Phthalates, 1,4 Dioxan
